The first Sherfield Village Flower and Produce Show was conceived as a new way to raise money for the 3rd Basingstoke (Sherfield) Scout Troop. The Scouts benefitted until 1994. Nowadays any Show profits from the raffle and auction are donated to different local/village organisations each year.
